Exercise Rehabilitation

Structured rehabilitation to restore movement, reduce pain and build long-term resilience.

At Helix Recovery, rehabilitation is used to address the underlying factors contributing to pain and dysfunction - not just the symptoms themselves. Programs are tailored to the individual and designed around their goals, injury history and the physical demands they place on their body.

Rehabilitation is approached through progressive multi-phase programming, with treatment evolving alongside recovery. Early stages may focus on reducing pain, improving movement quality and restoring tissue tolerance, before progressing toward strength development, movement retraining and higher-level functional performance.

Programs may include:

  • Mobility and movement training

  • Strength and stability exercises

  • Tendon rehabilitation

  • Core strengthening

  • Sport-specific rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is integrated alongside hands-on treatment and shockwave therapy where appropriate to support recovery, improve biomechanics and build long-term resilience.

A Phased Approach to Recovery

Step 1

Reduce Pain & Improve Movement
Exercises focuses on reducing symptoms, restoring movement quality and improving confidence in the injured area.

Step 2

Build Strength & Tissue Capacity
Exercises are progressively loaded to improve strength, capacity and resilience.

Step 3

Return to Activity & Performance

Rehabilitation becomes increasingly specific to your goals, whether that's work, sport or training.
