Key Cues
β Keep your hips and pelvis relaxed and flat.
β Hold your knee firmly in position against the resistance of the band.
β Maintain steady tension throughout the entire hold.
β Aim to feel a strong contraction through the back of your thigh.
β Have enough tension on the band at the start to produce a contraction with the knee in extension
Common Mistakes
β Allowing the knee to move rather than holding a fixed position.
β Lifting or rotating the pelvis to compensate.
β Tensing through the lower back unnecessarily.
β Using more resistance than you can comfortably control.
βBringing the knee into flexion to feel the contraction
